ISAAC REIS PASCUAL PAGTAKHAN On December 18, 2007 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Isaac Reis Pascual Pagtakhan, beloved son of Mabini Joy and Reis Pagtakhan, brother of Kailani Joy and Addison Reese, grandson of Philip and Lisa Pascual and Hon. Dr. Rey and Gloria Pagtakhan, died unborn in the womb of his mother. Though his time with us was a fraction of what we had hoped for, we will lovingly remember him in our hearts as that beautiful baby Isaac who in silence and peace conveyed to us his undying love as a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Isaac's Angelic Message In his mother's womb, Isaac lived alone For eights months and a half since conception, One with his mother in body and soul; There he waited and continued to grow; Delivered, he did not move, did not cry, His eyes were closed; he did not breathe a sigh; We felt his warmth as much as deep sorrow; He did not have a chance to learn a word, To say, I love you Mommy and Daddy, I love you Addison and Kailani'; He did not have a chance to play with them, With cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents; Deeply painful, still we fully know Isaac knows his Mom, Dad and sisters, too, And everyone who knows his family Enjoyed his company while in the womb; His Infinite Wisdom showed us Isaac His face and being, whole and beautiful; For this we're grateful, even as we mourn His death untimely by our measure of time; He lived life that teaches us its purpose To love, to trust, to hope, to care, to live That we may spread His gospel of Peace, For that is Isaac's angelic message. The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Taylor and the St. Boniface General Hospital obstetrics and pastoral care staff for their exemplary care beyond the call of duty. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 23 at 6:30 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel (corner of Main Street and Inkster Boulevard) with Rev. Fr. Jerry Talarski of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. Viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with closing prayers at 9:30 p.m. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
